Former Winnipeg Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson has been appointed as the new goaltending coach for the Selkirk Steelers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The decision follows Hutchinson’s retirement from professional hockey after an 11-season NHL career, where he played 154 games and achieved notable success with the Jets. Hutchinson, who already runs a local goaltending school, aims to share his NHL experience with young netminders. The Jets celebrated his career and expressed eagerness to see him at the Alumni Game.
