The Philadelphia Eagles have placed rookie tight end Eli Stowers on injured reserve due to quadriceps and hamstring injuries. In a corresponding move, they elevated wide receiver Britain Covey to the active roster. Stowers, a 22-year-old former four-star recruit, was drafted 54th overall in 2026 after a collegiate career spanning Texas A&M, New Mexico State, and Vanderbilt, where he recorded 146 receptions for 1,773 yards and 11 touchdowns.
