Rutgers Football Summary
Rutgers fell to Boston College 28-21, marking their second consecutive loss after a poor start and struggles from quarterback AJ Surace, who threw three touchdowns but also four interceptions. Despite a strong performance from running back Antwan Raymond and receiver KJ Duff, the Knights’ offense struggled with turnovers and third-down conversions. The defense had a bright spot with linebacker Moses Walker’s two interceptions, but overall, Rutgers failed to capitalize on opportunities. Next week, they face No. 14 USC in their Big Ten opener.
