The Green Bay Packers released wide receiver Bo Melton on Friday, as reported by Adam Schefter. Although he attended practice earlier that day, his release is described as a “roster management thing,” with expectations for him to be re-signed before the Sunday opener. Melton, a seventh-round pick by the Seahawks in 2022, has bounced on and off the Packers’ practice squad and is anticipated to join the practice squad again before Week 1. In 2025, he played in 16 games, recording four catches for 107 yards and a touchdown, along with 467 yards on kick returns.
