The Boston Bruins signed forward Fraser Minten to a seven-year contract extension worth a $7.2-million cap hit, effective from the 2027-28 season. In his first full NHL season, Minten scored 17 goals and 35 points, ranking fifth on the team in goals and hits, with a plus-21 rating leading all NHL rookies. Acquired from the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2025, he has 20 goals and 40 points in 107 career games. Bruins GM Don Sweeney praised Minten’s growth and importance to the team.
