The Cleveland Browns are re-signing cornerback Michael Coats Jr. to their practice squad, as reported by Scott Petrak. Coats, 25, began his college career at East Central Community College, later transferring to Nevada and West Virginia, where he recorded 84 tackles and five interceptions over three seasons. He initially signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent after the 2026 draft but was waived shortly after making the 53-man roster. The updated Browns practice squad now includes 16 players, with Coats being the latest addition.
