ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss reports that the Arizona Cardinals and WR Michael Wilson are discussing a potential contract extension, with a deal possible as soon as Friday. Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort previously expressed skepticism about an extension, despite Wilson’s breakout 2025 season, where he recorded 78 receptions for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns. Wilson, drafted in 2023, is entering the final year of his rookie contract, set to earn a base salary of $3.924 million in 2026. He will become an unrestricted free agent in 2027.
