Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard announced that wide receiver Keenan Allen is expected to play in the season opener despite his recent arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The 34-year-old, who signed a one-year deal on August 17, was arrested shortly after his preseason debut. Ballard expressed confidence in Allen, citing his long career without issues and emphasizing the need for grace in light of mistakes. The Colts’ season begins on September 13 against the Baltimore Ravens, with Allen’s court date set for September 16.
