Josh Green and Lauri Markkanen, former Arizona Wildcats, are now NBA teammates after Green was traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Utah Jazz, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. This marks Green’s second trade this offseason, having previously been involved in the deal that sent LaMelo Ball to Minnesota. The 6-foot-6 guard is entering the final year of a $41 million contract and joins a struggling Jazz team that has missed the playoffs for five consecutive years. Green, the 18th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has averaged 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds over 349 games.
