The Detroit Lions defeated the Indianapolis Colts 25-16 in their preseason finale, with several players making strong cases for the practice squad. Lucky Jackson, a wide receiver, led the team with five catches for 94 yards, although his special teams limitations may hinder his roster chances. Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga and pass-rusher Eric O’Neill also showed promise, while running back Trayveon Williams impressed with two touchdowns. Offensive lineman Mason Miller had a solid debut at center, and safety Aamaris Brown displayed notable tackling and coverage skills despite a crowded secondary.
