The Philadelphia Phillies announced promotions for Dan Aucoin and Luke Murton to assistant general manager roles, with Aucoin overseeing research and information and Murton focusing on hitting. Aucoin, who joined the team in 2023 and has a background with Driveline Baseball, formalizes his role as head of R&D. Murton, previously the director of player development, will see a new farm director appointed in the offseason. Under president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski, the Phillies now have five AGMs, including Jorge Velandia and Brian Barber, while Ned Rice expands his business operations responsibilities.
