Brandon Clarke, a late Memphis Grizzlies player, had cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, and other medications in his system at the time of his accidental death on May 11, as revealed in an autopsy report. Just weeks prior, he led police on a high-speed chase and was found with kratom and other substances in his home. His history of drug use was noted, and he had suffered multiple injuries that limited his NBA career. Clarke’s estate will receive $12.5 million owed to him, protected by a life insurance policy.
