Former USC basketball star DeMar DeRozan is reportedly signing a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the Denver Nuggets. After being waived by the Sacramento Kings, where he averaged 20.3 points per game, DeRozan is eager to play alongside Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon on a contending team. He had a standout college career at USC, leading the Trojans to a Pac-10 tournament finale and earning tournament MVP honors. DeRozan’s jersey numbers have been retired by both USC and Compton High School, and he remains involved in supporting his former teams.
