As USC football prepares for its season opener, coach Lincoln Riley faces the potential dilemma of whether to welcome back former players who have signed with NFL teams but may seek to return to college. A recent court ruling allows these players, who have expressed interest in joining college rosters, to regain eligibility. Riley emphasized that any addition must benefit the team’s culture and cohesion, especially after a demanding training camp. The situation raises questions about locker room dynamics and the implications of integrating players who were not part of the team’s preparation.
