Kinley Rasmus Shines at Little League World Series
Kinley Rasmus, a 12-year-old pitcher from Phenix City, Alabama, has made history at the 2026 Little League World Series as one of only 25 girls to compete, tying a record for strikeouts in a game. The daughter of former MLB player Cory Rasmus, she recorded eight strikeouts during a 2-0 loss to Washington and showcased her skills as a shortstop. With her signature white bow and the rallying cry “Fear the Bow,” Rasmus has energized her team, leading them to their first World Series appearance in 27 years. Phenix City must secure a win in the loser’s bracket to keep their championship hopes alive.
