With a 35-year career at the Lakers, where he played a key role in securing a $3 billion contract with Charter Communications, Harris aims to help the university address budget constraints and explore revenue streams, particularly in athletics. As a former UCLA student-athlete, he has previously taught “Lakers 101” in the university’s Sports and Leadership Program.
