Peyton Watson is joining the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Denver Nuggets as part of a four-team trade that also involves Max Strus moving to the Los Angeles Clippers. Watson, a restricted free agent, will sign a four-year, $88 million contract with the Cavaliers. Cleveland will send an unprotected 2031 first-round pick and a 2032 second-round pick to Denver, while acquiring a 2027 second-round pick from the Clippers. Watson, who had a breakout season averaging 14.6 points, will help fill the void left by LeBron James’ departure.
