The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed defensive tackle Vita Vea to a one-year, $30-million extension, keeping him under contract for two additional seasons. The deal includes a $6 million increase over his previous $18 million salary this year, with Vea set to earn $24 million in 2027. Vea, a two-time Pro Bowler and key member of the Buccaneers’ defense since being drafted 12th overall in 2018, had requested a trade in July amid contract negotiations, but the team showed no interest in moving him.
