Free agent forward Trendon Watford has signed a one-year, $2.9 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans after a season with the Philadelphia 76ers. The former LSU standout, who went undrafted in 2021, previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets, earning accolades including SEC All-Freshman Team and All-SEC honors. Watford recorded his first career triple-double with the 76ers and aims to help the struggling Pelicans improve on their 26-56 record from last season.
