Candace Parker, a transformative figure in basketball, especially women’s basketball, has been inducted into the Class of 2026 Hall of Fame. A two-time NCAA champion and WNBA’s first player to win Rookie of the Year and MVP in the same season, she is a three-time WNBA champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist. In her induction speech, Parker reflected on her journey, crediting her father and acknowledging the influence of Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie while passing the torch to A’Ja Wilson. She also recognized Allen Iverson’s impact during the ceremony.
