Aaron Judge is making progress in his recovery from a fractured rib injury, recently playing catch for the first time according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone. Although Judge hasn’t played since May 31 and still has a long way to go before returning to full baseball activities, this marks a positive step. Prior to his injury, Judge had 17 home runs and a .907 OPS, and his absence has impacted the Yankees’ offense, which has struggled since he went on the IL. New York’s recent performance includes a 3-1 loss to the Blue Jays on Friday night.
