In the 2026 preseason opener against the Ravens, Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion will debut a new offensive scheme blending Shanahan principles with past Eagles strategies. Head coach Nick Sirianni emphasizes the importance of not revealing too much of their game plan, recalling regrets from the 2021 preseason when they showcased too many tactics. While the offense may appear basic, key changes will be evident, with more complexities saved for the regular season starting on September 13. The Eagles aim to balance player evaluation and Mannion’s play-calling development while maintaining a competitive edge.
