The Houston Texans have waived wide receiver Montrell Washington to make room for signing kicker Chris Freeman. Washington, 27, was drafted in the fifth round by the Denver Broncos in 2022 but has since been waived by multiple teams, including the Chiefs and Giants. In 2022, he played in 15 games, recording 32 punt returns for 271 yards and 18 kick returns for 340 yards. Freeman’s signing comes as part of several roster moves by the Texans.
