Freddie Freeman Injury Update
During a game against the Kansas City Royals on August 11, 2026, Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman fell into the Royals’ dugout while attempting to catch a foul popup, which he ultimately missed. Although he finished the defensive inning, he was later pinch-hit for by Tommy Edman in the eighth as he sought treatment for soreness in his left hand and shoulder. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts noted Freeman is day-to-day and originally planned to rest him on Friday, pending his condition.
