The Los Angeles Angels have dismissed pitching coach Mike Maddux, assistant pitching coach Darryl Scott, and bullpen coach Dom Chiti. Interim roles will be filled by Double-A pitching coach Tim Leveque as interim pitching coach and assistant pitching coordinator Michael Wuertz as interim bullpen coach. Interim GM John Mozeliak stated that the changes are part of a strategic evaluation of the coaching staff to enhance the pitching program. The team aims to assess necessary adjustments for future success with seven weeks remaining in the season.
