The Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs expressed interest in right-hander José Soriano after the Toronto Blue Jays acquired him from the Los Angeles Angels. Culpepper, the Twins’ No. 2 prospect, recently debuted in the majors and hit a home run. Soriano, who has a 3.29 ERA this season, allowed one earned run in his Blue Jays debut.
