The Green Bay Packers have activated running back Chris Brooks from the NFI list, allowing him to return to practice, as reported by Matt Schneidman. Brooks, who initially signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent from BYU in May 2023, was cut due to injury but later joined the Packers’ practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster two weeks later and has signed a two-year, $4.85 million contract extension. In 2025, he played all 17 games, recording 27 rushing attempts for 106 yards and 13 receptions for 91 yards.
