The Detroit Lions held a tryout for a group of free agents, including veteran cornerback Trevon Diggs. The tryout featured several players, such as linebackers Amari Burney and Milo Eifler, quarterbacks Jake Haener and Jack Plummer, and wide receivers Julian Hicks and Ray-Ray McCloud. Diggs, 27, was a second-round draft pick by Dallas in 2020 and signed a five-year, $97 million extension before being released and claimed by the Packers. He recorded 27 tackles in nine games during the 2025 season for both teams.
