Lonnie Walker IV, a seven-year NBA veteran and former player for Maccabi Tel Aviv, has reportedly signed a one-year, $3.3 million minimum contract with the Denver Nuggets, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic. The 6’4″ two guard will help fill the depth needed after the loss of Tim Hardaway Jr. and could potentially take on a role similar to Bruce Brown’s. Walker averaged 15.2 points per game in EuroLeague last season and is a career 35.6% shooter from 3-point range. Denver is also focused on managing its roster and salary cap, as they are above the luxury tax threshold and looking to shed salary.
