The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) recently opened the PLYRS UNTD Performance Center, a $50 million, 42,500 square-foot training facility in Los Angeles, previously used by the Clippers. Designed as a centralized hub for offseason training, the facility addresses the difficulty of coordinating schedules for NBA players. NBPA president Fred Van Vleet spearheaded the investment, while executive director David Kelly hopes it fosters camaraderie among union members ahead of upcoming collective bargaining negotiations. The center includes a full weight room, training room, conference rooms, and a dining area.
