The Dallas Mavericks announced a three-year contract extension for forward Naji Marshall, worth $52.2 million and fully guaranteed, keeping him with the team until the 2029-2030 season. Marshall, who went undrafted in 2020 and played five seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaged a career-high 15.2 points per game last season. The Mavericks have also enhanced their roster by acquiring Santi Aldama and Moussa Cisse, and trading for Zaccharie Risacher. Despite a disappointing last season with a 26-56 record, the team is making strategic moves to improve for the future.
