The San Francisco 49ers have signed tight end Josiah Deguara and wide receiver Trenton Irwin to one-year contracts, while waiving defensive back Derrick Canteen and tight end Tanner McLachlan, who will revert to injured reserve after passing through waivers. Irwin, 30, previously played for multiple teams, including the Bengals and Panthers, and has recorded three receptions for 15 yards in seven games during the 2024 season.
