Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart was carted off the field during practice, but head coach Zac Taylor confirmed he “avoided a major injury” and hyperextended his knee. Although Stewart will be sidelined for several weeks, he is not expected to have suffered any ligament damage. The No. 17 overall pick in the 2025 draft, Stewart had a promising rookie season with one sack and two tackles for loss in eight games. Taylor expressed relief at the situation, noting the team is fortunate he will return sooner rather than later.
