Former Montreal Canadiens forward Colin White has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the New Jersey Devils for the 2026-27 season, carrying a $900,000 cap hit at the NHL level. White, who played 17 games with the Canadiens in the 2023-24 season without recording any points, spent the following season with the San Jose Sharks and their AHL affiliate, the Barracuda, where he tallied 48 points in 46 games. He will aim to secure a spot on the Devils’ roster during training camp, but could also serve as a veteran presence for the Utica Comets.
