Elijah Bieniemy’s court hearings have been postponed due to the need for a mental health evaluation following his arrest on July 27 for allegedly shooting his mother, Mia Bieniemy. He faces charges of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharge of a firearm inside a dwelling. Mia has since improved and is no longer in intensive care. Bieniemy is currently held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
