Birmingham City has signed 24-year-old USA left-back Kristoffer Lund from Palermo on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Lund, who previously played for FC Midtjylland and spent last season on loan at Bundesliga club FC Cologne, has made a total of 72 appearances for Palermo. He joins a growing squad that includes Argentine striker Luis Vazquez and defender Dael Fry, among others, as they prepare for the 2026-27 season. Lund has seven caps for the USA but was not selected for the World Cup.
