Cincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene may be traded before the upcoming deadline, with a “50-50” chance of a deal, according to MLB sources. The team is receiving substantial interest in the 2024 All-Star, though they are hesitant to move him unless it provides a significant return. Greene, who has struggled this season with a 7.06 ERA, is under contract through 2029 and represents the Reds’ best trade asset outside of star shortstop Elly De La Cruz. Currently, the Reds sit last in the NL Central, far behind the division leaders.
