The Los Angeles Angels have begun liquidating assets by trading catcher Logan O’Hoppe to the Texas Rangers. Along with O’Hoppe, right-handed pitcher Chase Silseth will also join the Rangers, while the Angels receive 19-year-old shortstop prospect Angel Arredondo in return. O’Hoppe, 26, was a former No. 1 prospect for the Angels and had a notable 2024 season, hitting .244 with 20 home runs and 56 RBI over 136 games.
