Broncos OLB Jonathon Cooper is expected to report to training camp after being absent from mandatory minicamp due to legal issues, including two arrests for domestic violence. He pled not guilty in court and faces additional charges, including harassment and violating a protection order. Cooper, a former Ohio State standout, was drafted in 2021 and signed a four-year, $60 million extension in November 2024. Last season, he played all 17 games, recording 50 tackles and eight sacks.
