Former NFL cornerback Joejuan Williams, who announced his retirement two months ago, is returning to the New England Patriots as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship. A second-round draft pick in 2019, Williams played 44 games in total, primarily contributing on special teams. After a brief coaching stint at Vanderbilt, he gained further experience with the Commanders and is now set to develop his coaching career with the Patriots. The team’s training camp begins on July 25, 2026.
