Woodruff to Undergo Second Shoulder Surgery

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff announced he will undergo right shoulder surgery, having previously had a similar procedure in 2023 that led to a near two-year absence. The 33-year-old, who has a 2.98 ERA this season, stated he is focused on rehabilitating and is not considering retirement. Woodruff re-signed with the Brewers last offseason for $22.025 million. He has spent his entire nine-year career with the team.
