The Detroit Red Wings have signed defenseman Ronnie Attard to a one-year, two-way contract as part of an offseason roster overhaul by general manager Steve Yzerman. Attard, a native of White Lake Township, Michigan, previously played with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles and has NHL experience with the Philadelphia Flyers. This offseason, the Red Wings also added forwards Viktor Arvidsson, Keegan Kolesar, Chase Stillman, Cameron Butler, and Wilmer Skoog, along with defenseman Jacob Bryson. Attard has played 29 NHL games, scoring two goals and four assists.
