A group led by 49ers limited partner Vinod Khosla has agreed to purchase the Seattle Seahawks for a record $9.612 billion, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Seth Wickersham. This sale price is 50% higher than the Washington Commanders’ sale in July 2023 and is pending owner approval. Khosla, who joined the 49ers ownership in 2025, expressed honor in becoming the Seahawks’ stewards, aiming to build on Paul Allen’s legacy. The Khosla family will need to divest from the 49ers to complete the transaction.
