Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic expressed his intention to remain with the team for the duration of his career, despite delaying signing a contract extension. Currently under contract for two more seasons, Jokic is eligible for a five-year, $359.5 million deal next offseason, which would be the largest in NBA history. Over 11 years with the Nuggets, he has won three MVPs and helped secure the team’s first title in 2023. Despite his impressive performance, the Nuggets were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season.
