The Pirates released right-hander Yunior Marte and outfielder Dominic Fletcher from their Triple-A team. Marte, who had a brief stint with the Reds after a successful season in Japan, allowed five earned runs in five appearances with Pittsburgh. Fletcher, who had previously played for the White Sox, opted out of his contract after not being added to the big-league roster. Both players now seek opportunities elsewhere as the Pirates adjust their roster.
