The Nationals have re-signed left-hander Konnor Pilkington to a minor league contract, assigning him to Triple-A Rochester, while releasing righty reliever Trevor Gott. Pilkington, who previously made 32 appearances with Washington, had a 4.45 ERA last season but struggled with the Tigers’ Triple-A affiliate this year, recording a 5.40 ERA and decreased strikeout rate. Gott, 33, has a 3.55 ERA in Rochester this season but has not played in the MLB for three years.
