Aaron Wilson of KPRC reports that the Texans are waiving DB Ajani Carter and OLB Xavier Thomas from injured reserve. Carter, 25, signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent last year and later joined the Texans’ practice squad, being promoted to the active roster in November. He played in two games for Houston in 2025 without recording any stats. Thomas’s details were not disclosed in the report.
