The Vancouver Canucks have made significant cuts to their roster, opting not to extend qualifying offers to restricted free agents Jayden Grubbe, Nils Åman, Danila Klimovich, Chase Stillman, and Pierre-Olivier Joseph, all of whom will become free agents. Joseph logged the most NHL experience among them, while Åman’s playing time has declined significantly. Additionally, Grubbe and Stillman were recent acquisitions but struggled to make an impact. The Canucks also traded Nils Höglander to the Nashville Predators and acquired Brendan Gallagher from the Montréal Canadiens.
