Brandon Aiyuk, a receiver for the 49ers, recently stated in a social-media video that he ended his Standard Representation Agreement with agent Ryan Williams in November 2025; however, NFLPA records indicated the SRA was still active until it was officially terminated on Saturday. Aiyuk now needs to petition the league for reinstatement from the reserve/left squad list to participate in training camp, which could lead to his release by the 49ers. He has expressed he won’t return to the team until the Commanders visit Levi’s Stadium on October 19. Aiyuk may need to attend practice to secure his status as a free agent unless the 49ers remove him from the reserve list.
