League One side Oxford United has signed 30-year-old former Hearts defender Frankie Kent on a free transfer. Kent made 95 appearances and scored four goals during his three seasons at Hearts, and he played 25 times last season as the team contended for the Scottish Premiership title. Previously, he had a successful stint at Colchester United and Peterborough United. Head coach Aaron Ramsey expressed delight in securing a player of Kent’s quality and leadership.
